Happy New Year!

It has been a while since I’ve blogged last, but it’s a new year! Goodbye 2011, HELLO 2012! The year 2011 was a crazy one to say the least. It may have been one of the most difficult years of my life, but I never gave up, even at times when I felt like I couldn’t push any further and was at my weakest. Staying positive and always looking at the bright side of things is always the best way to go about your life. For the new year, one of my biggest resolutions I plan on making is to stay as positive as possible and do the things I love.  Being around those who make me happy and those who are optimistic are the people I want to surround myself with. No one wants any negative Nancey’s in their life anyway! I cannot wait for what 2012 has to offer. It’s hard to believe in one year I will be graduating from college. It seems like just yesterday my parents were helping me get settled in the dorms. It is bittersweet and I am going to miss Wilmington, but I can’t wait for what the future has to offer. This semester I’ll be doing an internship for a news station and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I finally get to apply what I’ve been learning all these years into a BIG GIRL job :)

In the meantime, I am going to focus hard in school this semester so I can get the heck out of college with a beautiful degree… and at the same time I will be counting down the days until my summer cruise and trip to Greece. Family is everything to me & it’ll be amazing to see everyone in a few months (let alone bring out the spring and summer wardrobe..! Bring on the 2012 spring/summer clothing lines!!).
